The Sentinel

The experiment went horribly wrong on Dr.Keefe. While trying to extract the gene that caused his epilepsy, the scientists took the oppurtunity to introduce a new gene into his body. It was a gene meant to enable humans to exchange water in their lungs and breathe underwater. The gene hadn't been tested, and the results were, abnormal... Fearing the worst, the scientists abandoned the lab and the whole building; fleeing from the sight of Keefe.

One year later, Another group of scientists attempted to make use of the abandoned lab. They entered the room with a view of the gene pool. They tested the power, and the generator kicked in, but as soon as it did, frost gradually formed on the windows... Keefe slowly rose from his deep sleep to show his new self. His skin had become pale, his hair had fallen out and his pupils dialated beyond their irises, making him blind. It seemed he had designed an outfit to keep his new, water-breathing body alive. He required a mask and a constant supply of cooling water around his body. He had become the sentinel of the lab...

Just another speed painting.. about 1.5hours (lol I'm slow)

Anyway, I like making up stories for my paintings ^_^ I think I'll write one for the more interesting pieces, perhaps not so much with landscapes...
